Place: Valkoinen sali, Aleksanterinkatu 16-18, 00170 Helsinki
Early bird tickets available here!
The conference agenda should contain something interesting for everyone from people new to Robot Framework to very experienced users. The high level agenda is illustrated below, and the final agenda with a list of speakers will be published before the early bird period ends.
The conference day starts with a keynote by Pekka Klärck, the lead developer of Robot Framework. In addition to that, the morning agenda contains introductory level topics suitable for new users and everyone interested about Robot Framework in general.
The middle part of the day is reserved for various case studies demonstrating how Robot Framework is used in different domains and contexts. Presentation are kept pretty short to make it possible to fit several into the agenda.
The last slots in the agenda are reserved for more advanced topics such as extending the framework in different ways. There should be something new also for the long time users!
In addition to the main conference room, there is dedicated space for an official “hallway track”. There you can chat with other users, show demos, work together, organize ad-hoc open space sessions, meet sponsor companies, and so on. This space can be used between the presentations, but it’s fine to use it also during presentations that aren’t so relevant for you.
RoboCon is organized by Robot Framework Foundation, a non-profit consortium that also sponsors the development of Robot Framework. Possible profits from the conference will be used for this purpose too.
We hope that companies using the framework consider becoming members and help us making the framework and the whole ecosystem better. Member companies also get 1, 2, 4 or 8 free conference tickets, depending on the paid membership fee.
If you have an interesting case study to show or something else matching the overall agenda discussed above, we’d like to hear from you. Please contact the organizers using the email@example.com email address.
Sponsor opportunities are mainly reserved for Robot Framework Foundation member organizations. An exception to this organizations outside Finland who currently cannot become foundation members. If you are interested, please contact organizers using the firstname.lastname@example.org email address.
